Celia & Charity Smith
SMITH, Celia & Charity (sisters), American. Co-inventors of doll designs that could be printed on cloth and then cut out. From 1889 their cut-out patterns were available on the market. These could then be sewn together in the home to produce the actual doll. A very novel and economical approach to doll production.
