Giuliana Tesoro

TESORO, Giuliana, American chemist. A highly productive textiles research worker, who investigated many of the same problems as Ruth BENERITO. After many years working in industry, she is now teaching at the Polytechnic University of New York City. In 1978 she received an award from the Society of Women Engineers. Giuliana is the holder of about 125 patents concerning textile materials properties (antistatic, flame retardance, permanent press, etc. A most prolific and successful inventor in both industrial and academic research technology.
