Iris Whyte

WHYTE, Iris, English, b-1936. Winner of the 1999 British Female Inventor of the Year award, for her Talking Potty. This is a potty training aid for young children, it is attractively designed and keeps the child entertained and attentive. Iris also created Snappy Sox, a snap-fastener system for socks that keeps a pair together in the wash and in storage. No more odd socks after doing the laundry!
