KURTZIG, Sandra, American computer engineer and entrepreneur, b-1947. The inventor of the concept of  Share-Ware Software for businesses using computers (1972). This concept involves monitoring and sharing of information which has been stored electronically. A company that she founded on a shoestring  (ASK Computer) is now a worldwide success. Sandra’s concept and $2,000 investment made her a significant pioneer in the Silicon Valley legend.
