Toshiko Kokonoe
KOKONOE, Toshiko, Japanese academic and inventor. In 1938 she invented the first of her many weaving devices. This first one became the best known. It was a miniature, lightweight and portable loom, fully operational but small enough carry in a bag from class to class for teaching purposes.
