Annette Pappas

PAPPAS, Annette, American. A co-inventor (with Vaccaro) of a pantyhose garment with a spare-leg portion (tights with 3 legs), patented in 1996. The well known problem of being out and about when a ladder/run occurs in the hosiery, is solved by this design which involves a third leg folded up into the pantyhose top. The good new leg is transposed onto the leg exchanging for the damaged-hose leg. Guaranteed a lot of interest from busy ladies, much better than trying to remember to carry a spare set of tights in the handbag. They are already wearing the spare set.
