DORAN, Carlita Rex, Filipino chemist and entrepreneur, b-1942. The inventor of a unique fuel in 1981, a solidified complex alcohol called Siroca. It was marketed in the Far East in cans, as an alternative fuel source. Carlita also developed a range of cosmetics products based on essential oils from the bark of Gugo (a local climbing plant). These natural cosmetic products have been very popular.
